The Government of Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examinations conducted Secondary Final examination during March-April session and this year around 5,40,505 boys and 5,32,186 girls sat for the exam to finish their Secondary academic level and progress to college. Result for the main exam was declared on May and pass percentage was approximately 92.9%. The percentage is quite higher than the previous years but the remaining 8% students failed in one or multiple subjects. They had to sit for Supplementary exam which was held in June. Now the candidates are waiting for Tamilnadu SSLC Supplementary Result 2015.
Tamil Nadu Board of Secondary Education, established in 1910. Evaluates students’ progress by conducting two board examinations-one at the end of class 10 and the other at the end of class 12. The scores from the class 12 board examinations are used by universities to determine eligibility and as a cut-off for admissions into their programmes.
